BREAK THE
CYCLE of
People-Pleasing,
STEP INTO
Your Leadership Identity
Hello! I’m Tracy a Certified Executive Coach and Corporate Trainer that helps people stop smiling pretty through pain, so they can create a career and life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.
UNLOCK
THE Golden
Handcuffs
As a people-pleaser, you will always be in a state of what I call anticipatory reaction—which typically results in overdoing, overgiving and exhausting cycles of burnout—until you operate from an authentic responsiveness that arises from knowing your zone of genius and value.
After over two decades in corporate tech and now, through coaching high-achieving professionals, what I have consistently seen is that the key to unlocking the golden handcuffs is finding the intersection between your zone of genius, the work you long to do and what the company actually needs.
Through The Art of Subtle Influence, I will show you how.
YOU CAN
HAVE Corporate America YOUR
WAY
Too many brilliant, accomplished people are drowning in a daily grind and paralyzed by Monday dread. They want to quit or escape, but their livelihood, reputation, and trajctory are at stake. I’ve been there too.
Which is why I am committed to a movement to rebuild and revitalize Corporate America one person at a time. To make it a place where people have work life harmony and show up all-in for reasons beyond compensation alone.
We will work together to bring the “you” back to your career story in a way that is good for you and good for the company.

IF YOU ARE READY
to get out of your own way and radically change YOUR RELATIONSHIP with work
You’re in the right place
While everyone’s life-circumstances and goals are unique, I often support high-achieving professionals who:
Know there are people lined up who would kill for their job, but feel their only choice is to either accept it and make the best of it, or leave and deal with the lifestyle consequences, or risk an even less ideal working situation elsewhere or lose everything they've worked so hard for.
Have everything they say they want, but frantically race through their checklist with minimal or no pit stops to celebrate accomplishments along the way, failing to really live.
Reached a breaking point, smiling pretty through pain, saying yes with warmth when they really want to scream.
Are exhausted by the cycle of intense work schedules and expectations that lead to a Netflix binge watching wine-drinking check out session, that then requires an internal personal development pep rally—only to find themselves back in the same intensity again.
Are resigned to “this is just the way it is in Corporate America.” If they want the perks and lifestyle they have to “suck it up.” They spend everyday either tackling or thinking about all that needs to be done, or they daydream about quitting, or being laid off.
Experience Monday dread on the regular, and feel like they are on a conveyor belt of work that never stops and they will never catch up. Apathy has set in but they can't not care (because they’re built to honor your responsibilities and exceed expectations).
Worry that if they ask for what they want they will sound entitled, or don’t know how to ask in a way that they are truly heard.
Let the fear of not being liked get in the way of what they really want.
Sound FAMILIAR?
HI!
I’m Tracy
I was raised in rural Wisconsin, in the heart of America’s Dairyland. You were lucky to have a job and sacrificed everything to protect it. The worst thing you could be was lazy or ungrateful. Fast forward to my early days in Corporate and that midwestern work ethic served me well—eventually leading to leadership roles in prestigious retail and tech companies, like Best Buy, Fitbit and Google.
I was outwardly successful, but fitting in the dominant culture and going against my energy and natural talents just to get the job done. I wasn’t actually leading, I was people-pleasing my way to the top.
After years of the same cycle of feeling like an imposter and white-knuckling through soul-sucking burnout, I reached a breaking point one rainy morning sitting in the car outside daycare. I finally admitted to myself that while I was accomplished, I wasn’t happy and it was time to stop pretending. I had to change my relationship with work (which, of course, started with the relationship between me and me).
What followed was a deep dive into any and every book, program and methodology that could help, ultimately culminating in a coaching certification and the creation of The Art of Subtle Influence—the way I keep the people-pleaser in check—and the key to unlocking the authenticity, fulfillment and impact I craved.
I’ve distilled into a simple, easy-to-follow framework so you can too.
